***** We enjoyed our holidays in a very pleasant traditional country andaloucian villa. The house is very well located to cruise one day round-trip to important must-see cities : Grenada, Cordoba, Malaga and so on. The house is very calm, well fitted with a fantastic swimming pool paired with a wonderful pool house from where you can access a fridge and contemplate an outstanding sight of the valley all around. Bob and Katy are available whenever you need though they will keep your privacy. They are lovely and kind people. We recommend strongly to pay a visit in a wonderful place to unwind in an amazing Andaloucia.

**** The property was comfortable and well equipped with everything needed. The pool was fabulous with sun loungers, table and chairs, bar and bbq - all for our personal use and completely as advertised. We were very happy with the accommodation and the owners Katy and Bob.

***** The property had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing, peaceful and tranquil holiday. It was well furnished and set in lovely grounds with superb views. The pool and terrace area were fabulous and we made good use of the built in bbq which was complete with bar area and fridge. Katy and Bob were excellent host, living in the adjacent villa, they gave us complete privacy but were on hand if needed. It is located in a very rural area, being approximately 10/15 minutes drive to the nearest town of Huetor Tajar where there was a good supermarket, which stocked everything we needed, bars, restaurants etc. Inside the property, there are leaflets and brochures explaining a wide variety of places to visit in the local area. An evening meal could be arranged in advance which we took advantage of on our first and last nights - an excellent idea and expertly cooked and served to us by the pool. We were chilled out from day one - fantastic. Our only minor comment would be that a ceiling fan in the main bedroom would be nice. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return.

***** Bob and Katy made us so welcome in their fabulous villa in a beautiful location. They were available to answer our questions which was very helpful in a non touristy location. Katy's meals were a treat. We ate at the villa three times as we did not want to leave the pool in the idyllic evening sunshine. We particularly loved cooking at the barbecue a meal she prepared for us. The villa was very comfortable and kitted out with everything we could have wanted. We particularly loved having our morning coffee in the Spanish courtyard ably entertained by Betty their gorgeous dog. The views around the pool are stunning with the rolling hills covered by the olive groves and the sounds of the Spanish farmers going about their work. The fridge by the pool meant we never really had to ( or wanted to) leave. Thanks bob and Katy for a wonderful holiday. We will be back !!

***** We have just come back from a lovely holiday in Cortijo near Huetor Tajar in Granada. It is a very rural location with wonderful views. The pool and accommodation are perfect and it has everything you need including a bar, bbq and fridge by the pool. The courtyard garden is a feature and the decor is all very Spanish. Bob and Katy are very welcoming and friendly as is Betty the dog. I am sure we will be returning. You do need a hire car and it is not for those who are looking for busy night life, but if like us you want peace and quiet it is perfect.

***** What a wonderful place to recharge your batteries. Peace and quiet, beautiful weather, views and scenery, close to all amenities, welcoming and helpful owners, handy for days out, pretty villages to explore and all the people are very friendly and welcoming. What more can you want from a holiday?

***** We stayed at Katy and Bob's villa in the summer of 2011. It was a well laid out, well equipped and private space with a fantastic pool area ( with a very handy beer fridge) and view. Katy and Bob are in the villa opposite but at no time did it feel too close and they completely respect your privacy. We struggled to get the kids to do anything else as all they wanted to do was stay near the pool. You definitely need a car to stay here, the local town is about a 10 minute drive but has all you need , nice shops, a big supermarket and restaurants . I would definitely recommend a stay here if you're after a relaxing holiday with great hosts .

***** One of the loveliest spots you can imagine to drink that evening glass of wine. Katy & Bob were the best hosts ever, they looked after us and the meals they delivered to our door were amazing. This location is perfect for those who want to get away and unwind from the busy lives we all lead, cannot recommend it highly enough.

***** We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at El Granero. It was quiet (even though the olives were being harvested late April) and peaceful. The pool was great with a very well designed outside kitchen. The villa was clean and well-maintained. The owners, Katy & Bob were great hosts and provided lots of local information. We would have no hesitation in recommending El Granero to anyone looking for a great spot in the Spanish sun.
